OUR STORY

cultivating a homegrown life

In 2020 our family began homesteading in Springvale, Maine. We are first generation farmers/homesteaders committed to sustainable agriculture practices and community. We began with a small flock of chickens, reviving a heritage apple orchard, and 50 lavender plants.  We homeschool our two children and are dedicated to community building. Each year we expand our lavender fields and now tend heritage turkeys, American guinea hogs, milking goats, fiber rabbits, honeybees, barn cats, a variety of chickens and our beloved corgi. We are honored to steward 13 acres with organic, regenerative and no-till growing practices. While we cultivate medicinal and culinary plants, heirloom flower and vegetable gardens; we have certified much of our land as a wildlife and pollinator habitat with the Wildlife Federation, North American Butterfly Association, Homegrown National Park, and Pollinator Partnership.
